Logo

Objective

  • Retain the established identity marks Swabian Jura and “Oeschbergschnitt” (a type of pruning, see its German Wikipedia article)
  • Optimize legibility of the club name (Example: Mössinger Amtsblatt [a German public journal], issue 41-2013, page 26 – artifacts were unfortunately introduced like in all logos)
  • Increase recognizability of the tree with Oeschbergschnitt (one large tree instead of three small ones, reduced detail, increased spacing)
  • Fix typography (consistent line spacing and indents, “Gartenbauverein” instead of “Gartenbau Verein” with missing hyphen or incorrect space)
  • Include “e. V.” in the logo, which means “registered association” in Germany (German Wikipedia article)
  • Use the green hue that is already present on the association building
  • Create scalable vector graphics to avoid compression artifacts like in the original logo and to allow using the logo in any size
  • Create a favicon for the website
